Interview with Mrs. Kenny

This project was very different from what I am used to. I usually have a crappy idea and make a crappy project on it, but this was a more serious project, and I feel like it turned out great.  I worked with Madison and Rachel, which was good because they didn't go along with my crappy ideas, and that helped a lot. The best part for me was when we went to go shoot. We didn't need any help setting up, and there was no mistakes with anything, which made the editing very easy.  Mr. Muench really helped me realize a better way to edit.  I was leaving in when people paused of stumbled on their words, but he showed me how to cut that out and it made the film way more quick and crisp. I also learned a lo about how to use the camera and the TAScam. I hope that I can take this class again, but if I cant I still plan to come in during flex block and work on my own movies.

Black and White Movie

I watched Some Like It Hot. I really liked this movie, and there was some really cool cinematography used, but I'm going to start with the things I didn't like / I think they could have done better. This might be a personal preference, but I really don't like how in older movies the credits are at the beginning. Another thing I don't understand is that movies in color were invented in the late 1920's, but this movie was made in 1959. The plot was really funny and I probably wouldn't change any of it, but the cinematography made the story so much better. Like during the dock scenes, I like how every time there is a dock scene people come running to a boat, and its a slow pan across the dock. I also liked the scenes were Joe had to dress as a women so he walks behind something and a second later he comes out dresses like a woman. I feel like the black and white actually helped a little bit because it adds to the super raunchy ,old time-y feel. I also noticed that I could always hear what people are saying, and the music is too loud. I really hate it when in movies nowadays characters have to shout over music, or the music is too loud to hear characters talk. Some Like It Hot didn't have any of that which is great. This is my favorite movie that I have watched I rate it 10/10 and if you haven't seen it I recommend that you watch it.
